The Business Manager is an honest, reliable, hard working individual with an affinity for numbers.  This department oversees the business management of the center ensuring that the administrative and logistical aspects are accomplished in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.

The Business Manager is responsible for the daily accounting, ordering of classroom supplies and maintaining the already strong business relationships with our suppliers.

Position Objectives

  • Financial Control - daily, weekly, monthly, yearly tracking of income/expenditures
  • Financial Management - setting budgets and negotiating contracts with suppliers 
  • Financial Reporting - submit as scheduled financial reports to the company's accounting department
  • Financial Planning - monthly advise the Board of Directors of current and pending account balances
  • Financial Relationship Management - coordinate with other schools and external partners
  • Human Resources - including overseeing staff training strategic planning, and meeting long-term goals for program development

Qualifications

The Business Manager should have:

  • College Degree(s)
  • 2+ years relevant business experience
  • High number acuity
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting and related software programs
  • Experience in the following would be an advantage: record keeping, payroll functions, contract negotiating, development of business plans, marketing and sales
